Matthew James Publishing is thrilled to announce the acquisition of a new female-ed gangland thriller ‘Pandora’s War’ from author M.M. Bailey. The book was acquired by publisher James Shaw following a round of open submissions. Pandora’s War’ is set for release in November 2024.
‘Pandora’s War’ follows an underworld figure hell-bent on rescuing vulnerable women from deadly situations. Far from a saint herself, yet operating with vigilante-like intentions, Pandora works from the inside to put a stop to abuse and trafficking within criminal gangs.
This novel marks the first time M.M. Bailey has stepped into the world of adult fiction. “It was quite scary leaping into the world of adult writing but strangely freeing at the same time,” Bailey adds. “I felt I could push myself and my writing so much further and have fun writing something much darker than I’d been able to before.”
